This is the first in a series of five posts seeking to encourage pastors to engage in serious theological study beyond the commentary work required for preaching. The posts are by Garry Williams, with input from the Pastors’ Academy team.

In this lecture, professor Carter looks at the theme of the transcendent God in Isaiah 40, 45, and 48. 

Jason Rampelt, lecturer in Philosophy and Science at the University of Pittsburgh, gave a lecture at our conference on Creation on the Authority of the Bible in relation to Science.

In this second lecture, Professor Carter shows how liberal Christianity has shifted towards mythology and argues evangelical Christianity has an ally in metaphysics.

In this first lecture, Professor Carter critiques relational theism and biblicism, and introduces classical theism.

Rico Tice delivered a challenging and heartfelt plea for more and better evangelism at our Annual Martyn Lloyd-Jones Memorial Lecture 2021. 

He also stressed the importance of one-on-one evangelism and states this is the new paradigm for evangelism in the 21st century.
